What this service is

Practical, one-to-one support to find, start and keep a job you enjoy. We help you explore options, build skills, and get the right adjustments at work so you can succeed with confidence.

Who it’s for

NDIS participants in Greater Sydney who want help to enter the workforce, return to work, or stay employed—including school leavers, career changers, and people seeking more hours or responsibility.

How we help (hands-on supports)

  • Career discovery & planning – strengths profiling, interest mapping, realistic job matches, volunteer/work-trial pathways.

  • Job-readiness – resumes & cover letters, applications, interview practice, workplace expectations, WHS basics, communication skills.

  • Access to opportunities – employer outreach, work experience, job carving, introductions to inclusive employers.

  • On-the-job coaching – task breakdowns, routines, prompts, pacing, confidence building and problem-solving.

  • Reasonable adjustments – advice for employers, assistive tech, environment set-up and supported onboarding.

  • Travel & independence – route planning, public transport training, time management.

  • Sustain & progress – check-ins, advocacy with HR/Managers, building toward more hours, study, or micro-enterprise.

What you get

  • Interview toolkit (resume pack, practice Q&A, referee prep)

  • Workplace support notes for you (and your employer, if you agree)

  • Regular progress reviews so goals stay on track

Funding & availability

Supports are typically claimed from Capacity Building – Employment (Finding & Keeping a Job) or related line items, depending on your plan. We’ll help you check the best fit and schedule sessions around your roster.
